Mission
Notelove is a 501(c) certified non-profit that gives free music lessons to youth in the Bay Area and Boston.
Our intention is to encourage participation in performing arts, which is often glossed over or underfunded. We also host events showcasing our students, along with fundraising events.
Our Impact
We currently have almost 100 instructors that teach 17 different instruments, volunteering a total of almost 2000 hours since the beginning of 2020.
Notelove currently also has 107 students taking free lessons with our nonprofit, as many of our instructors take on more than one student. We recently started a new chapter in Boston, as well.
My Role
As the director of marketing, I help with the recruitment of instructors and students, while also coming up with fundraising strategies.

I also help to manage our marketing budget, analyzing data based on past performance to run social media pages and marketing campaigns.
​
Another one of my roles is to create partnerships with clubs and other organizations, along with helping to guide the director of marketing for our Boston chapter.
​
As a piano instructor, I give two students free piano lessons weekly.
Recognition
Notelove has received a $1,000 grant from the Sunnyvale Cares Grant Program and has worked with the mayor of Mountain View.
Initiatives
2020 Winter Concert - Our team hosted a winter concert, showcasing both our instructors and students in a Youtube premier with over 200 viewers.

Freshman Workshop - Our team also hosted a fundraising workshop centered on helping freshmen navigate the beginning of their high school experience.
​
Restaurant Fundraisers - Every few months, our team will also host a restaurant fundraiser, such as our Chipotle fundraiser in February of 2021.

Instrument Zoo - The Instrument Zoo initiative was where our instructors showcased their instruments and explained them in a video to help younger students get to know various instruments.
​
Music Theory Workshops - We have also hosted free music theory workshops for our students in the Bay Area.
